On August 12th, Hong Kong finally saw the launch of its first regulated Hong Kong-dollar stablecoin — the HKDAP, which stands for HKD At Par — issued by Anchorpoint Financial.

After months of regulatory preparation, and about four months after Anchorpoint received one of Hong Kong's first two stablecoin issuer licences, regulated Hong Kong-dollar stablecoin has finally moved from policy documents into the real world.
