1.To bug someone
Bug只是小昆蟲,但也可以滋擾別人。To bug someone就是指繁複地騷擾或滋擾某人。例句用法正確。
2.Wouldn't hurt a fly撇除字面的意思,解作不傷害任何人或任何事情。正確例子:
Tom can't be the murderer; he wouldn't hurt a fly and the inspector just can't figure out how this can happen.
3.Ants in your pants字面解釋螞蟻在褲襠中,當然就不能定下來。成語用法可以正面也可以負面,可以是令人興奮莫名的事情,也可是焦慮不安的心事,視乎上下文的意思。正確例子:I have got ants in my pants; I can't wait to meet my students next month!
4.A fly on the wall這個很有趣,字面解說蒼蠅在牆壁上,意思是指在不被注意到的情況下聽到或看到其他發生事情。例子似乎有一點古怪,學生解釋Miss Chan是一個監考員。用法尚算可以。
